Photography-Tiny People Project
Inspired from the London-based photography street artist, Sincachu, in art class students created their own tiny people photography project. After getting introduced to his street installations, students got creative and made their unique settings for the photos. In terms of photography, they were encouraged to experiment with manual focus and change the object of interest in different photos. The result is really amazing! Look at the student's photographs and you'll be impressed.
And here are few photographs from the same project but different students of few years ago:
Blind contour line drawing
Middle school students had so much fun drawing each other without looking the paper, which was hard to resist :)
Blind contour line drawing is a great drawing exercise with many benefits for the students. It helps improve hand-eye coordination, observation skills, focus and coordination. Students perceived this lesson like a game, they had so much laugh during class but at the same time had a great deal of learning and created really cool ink/watercolor pictures.
