Share Art, Find Art

High school students are working on mini artworks that they will place on unusual places around the city so people can find them. The idea is to share art and find art on unexpected places, but also make meaningful artworks that will make people stop, wonder, think...My aim is to activate critical discussions on art, deepen students' appreciation of art and the world around them. We looked videos and  examples of critical artworks that high school students can easily relate to focusing especially on the works of Barbara Kruger.

Machines

If you could design your own machine, what type would it be? Dream machine, hot chocolate machine, macaroni machine, sleeping machine, art machine, happiness machine...? My students were full of interesting ideas. Using all sorts of discarded materials and pieces, they created some really cool assemblages.
